Since I started #TheSueAtkinsBookClub I’ve been keen to offer lesser known authors a platform & also to offer a wide range of diversity so all children can see themselves in the stories and books.

June is National Caribbean American Heritage Month. It celebrates the rich and diverse cultures of the Caribbean and the significance of Caribbean people and their descendants in history and culture.

As part of their  Read Around The World series, Colours of Us have compiled this list of beautiful children’s books set in the Caribbean.

It includes books for all ages, from babies to teenagers, and has some real gems!
