The Diet Starts Monday

I’m appearing on The Wright Stuff on Channel 5 between 9.15 – 11.25 discussing Lilly-Ella Gerrard and Mia Carragher’s company being forced to apologise for the controversial slogan ‘The Diet Starts Monday’  top after it was modelled by a child.

The teenage daughters of Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard have pulled a hoodie from their clothing line that appeared to encourage children to diet.

Lilly-Ella Gerrard, 14, and her 13-year-old friend Mia Carragher have launched their own clothes line Snatched Clothing, aimed at children and adults, which has already built up thousands of fans.

But the clothing range came under fire for including a hoodie – modelled by Lilly-Ella’s 11-year-old sister Lexie Gerrard – on the company’s Instagram page, with the slogan: “The diet starts Monday.”
