Never let your baby ‘Cry It Out’

I’ve never understood the advice to let a baby ‘Cry It Out ‘ as a baby is not trying to test you, manipulate you or wind you up. They are trying to tell you something.

A baby will soon learn not to trust the world to nurture their very primal needs and that can only be damaging.

So after attending The Mindful Policy Group Conference at The House of Commons I was delighted to hear Allan  Schore explain his many years of neoscientific research that says  never leave babies to cry.  Here is Natasha Philips article on Researching Reform around this very important topic.
