I was interviewed today on BBC Radio London by Vanessa Feltz about the 5 year old who sent John Lewis a hand written apology note and £2 for the bauble she accidentally broke in the shop on Saturday.
Vanessa felt it was unnecessary and over the top.
I thought it showed a parent passing on their values to her little girl called Faith by helping her write a note and draw a picture. It taught her about taking responsibility for her actions.
What are your thoughts?
Do you make your kids write “Thank you” letters when they get presents from their grandparents or friends for their birthday ?
How do you pass on your important values to your children?
