Dear John Lewis I’m sorry I broke a bauble… the values we teach are important.

I was interviewed today on BBC Radio London by Vanessa Feltz about the 5 year old who sent John Lewis a hand written apology note and £2 for the bauble she accidentally broke in the shop on Saturday.

Vanessa felt it was unnecessary and over the top.

I thought it showed a parent passing on their values to her little girl called Faith by helping her write a note and draw a picture. It taught her about taking responsibility for her actions.
