The Sue Atkins Weekly Parent Coaching Question

Today my weekly coaching questions are ones that I asked a couple  I was coaching from the USA on Skype last week.

Often we focus on what our partners get wrong so we just feel annoyed, fed up, frustrated or plain resentful. Just for this week ponder …….

What are my partner’s great qualities

What if I only noticed all my partner’s great qualities and strengths just for this week?

Is it their kindness, their humour, their patience with the kids, the way they take the dogs out every night  or empty the bins, put air in the tyres, iron the shirts every Monday or fill up dishwasher without complaining?

Do they speak gently to old people, smile at checkout ladies, or make small talk with my friends?

How would this change my view of them?
