Running on empty

We are often very hard on ourselves as parents. We often ” run on  empty” putting everyone else before ourselves. But my little red mini would soon run out of petrol if I didn’t fill it up from time to time! So as we all go into this lovely half term break with  promised sunshine and all sorts of possibilities say to yourself many times throughout the  day:

“Today I choose to relax, rest, and rejuvenate myself and then I just smile !

Nurturing yourself is a very important part of being a positive parent. Tired, stressed and overwhelmed and over worked parents get grumpy, get angry and say things they don’t mean…… don’t be one of them …….. today!
