A troubled family sends their drug-addicted son to the Peruvian rain forest in an act of desperation and hope. On the difficult path towards recovery, Riley Chapman is forced to look back upon his past and struggle towards future redemption. Meanwhile, his parents try to cope with the realities of bringing him home and the risk of his returning to his former life. Relying on family friend Cheo for support, Riley attempts to make the best of his life in the jungle. Filmed over a three year period, the story of Riley, his parents, and Cheo is a fearless portrait of the devastating effects that addiction has on an entire family.
