Toddlers kissing

When I was a Deputy Head teacher I taught 35  Reception aged  children (4-5 year olds)  and I saw a Mum do this  wonderfully simple, but really reassuring thing at the door of my classroom one day, which I have often told people about since.

Before saying goodbye, kiss your child’s hand & tell them to put the kiss in their pocket, and if they feel lonely or upset they can take it out  and have your kiss any time they want it!

It works like magic !

For older children you can use a photo 🙂
