You could say it all started with a lack of chocolate.

As a little girl, Sarah Cressall was inspired by her mum to achieve whatever she put her mind to. For eight-year-old Sarah, this meant more chocolate. Sarah wrote a comic with the superhero being a well-known chocolate bar. The lovely people of Cadbury’s sent her a big box of chocolate.

Sarah learnt the power of believing in yourself and having a goal even when you have no idea how to achieve it.

From here, Sarah achieved a successful career in management and then decided to pursue her passion for creative activities. She became a designer maker including commissions for Greenpeace and a mural at Charing-Cross Station. Sarah developed and ran workshops for people with head injuries and disabilities and saw the hugely positive effect of creative activities.

When Sarah became mum to Sam, Ollie and Josh, she recognised the lack of activities that nurtured each child’s own individual curiosity. It seemed more about putting information in rather than nurturing what was within to blossom.

Sarah developed educationally based creative arts and crafts programmes, with the support of her three boys, Sam Ollie and Josh – the chief testers (!), Duncan her husband, and her tech-savvy sister Fran Long.

This was back in 2002.

It went well and there was more to do. Demand was high and so Sarah worked with the British Franchise Association and when Josh started school in 2007, Sarah awarded her first franchise to Louise Radford.

The demand for creative activities continues to increase and year on year they have listened to their customer requests, increased their range of activities and extended their UK coverage.

Sarah now leads a proactive creative hub head office team based at the gorgeous Inspiration House, Creativity Drive, in Woodbury Devon. Here you will find a sizzling pot of talent, enthusiasm and creativity. They take their fun pretty seriously and are dedicated to high levels of services, research, development, training, ongoing support and health and safety.

They are really proud of their ever growing family of V.I.P (Very Inspirational People) – friendly franchise owners who deliver exceptional creative experiences within their local communities. They’re a pretty amazing team, hardworking, fully trained and DBS checked. Their franchise owners can be found right across the country from Orkney in the North of Scotland to Kingsbridge in Devon. They are raring to go with oodles of energy and enthusiasm, armed with paint, glue and glitter to inspire you and your child.
