Sue Atkins In Conversation With ……Dragon’s Den Winner Kathryn Baldrey-Chourio from Nana’s Manners
It is often said that the simple ideas are the best. As a teacher and parent, Kathryn often witnessed first-hand the everyday difficulties children face.
The journey began with Kathryn’s self-moulded clay models of the knife and fork design. Nana’s Manners ® is a family business, born through a belief of helping children to learn the brilliant basics through product innovation – wanting to help all children in becoming the best they can be.
All of Nana’s Manners ® products support children in becoming confident and independent in the world around them. Their fabulously colourful and practical launch product is ergonomically designed children’s cutlery.
Kathryn knows every parent cherishes that moment their child learns a new life skill as she has 2 children herself so Nana’s Manners have set about looking at the world through a child’s eyes with one aim; to make life easier for kids.
Through simple and effective designs, their products are developed to empower children learning everyday life skills independently whilst helping to build their confidence in the world around them.
